Ottawa Graffiti Station

Alright, new stuff...

This one here is a collab with an associate of mine, HEMLOCK, born partially out of some late-night discussion of Man Ray's famous installation-piece, "Object to Be Destroyed".

In the box itself is a can of red Krylon with a fat-cap attached, a Sharpie and two dozen blank stickers. Several days before the birth of this piece, Ottawa City Councillors angrily called for a tough-new graffiti-management program and said that graffiti management stations needed to be made available downtown.

Well, out of a partial desire to take a jab or two at the anti-graf folks and a need to answer the burning question of just what people will do when they see a box bearing the official insignia of the City which seems to encourage people to make graffiti, this box was born.
